Geez Louise.... I must have one of those faces. I cant believe that it actually happened again today. I was down at our local Woolies..... standing at the freezers, where they keep the ice cream..you know ? I was actually looking for the new Ben and Jerrys flavour which is aptly titled Couch Potato.....mmmmmmm...... yes its Vanilla with a caramel swirl and........ wait for it........ It actually has tiny little pieces of chocolate coated potato chips in it too !!!! Yeah I know...it does sound...too good to be true..... but it is true....scouts honour. AnywayS...where were we ??? Oh yeah.... So Im standing at the freezers, when I hear this voice behind me...... Hows Bea Smith going ?? Whatever happened to poor old Doreen ?? I turned around and there was a little old lady standing there just smiling at me. I probably blinked three or four times in surprise before I said... excuse me Madam are you talking to me ?? Quick as a whip, the feisty old girl fired back at me, with a very good Robert Deniro taxi driver impersonation .... Well I must be talkin to you..there aint no one else here....... I dont mind telling you,I was completely gobsmacked..... so I just stood there with my mouth wide open...catching flies... you know??? Then she said.... Im sorry darl....I cant remember your real name but youre that lady actress that played Old Vinegar Tits...in the original series of Prisoner, arent you...... I used to love you and The Freak..... you girls really made that show quite scary. Then she winks at me and says... I actually did a bit of Stir meself...back in the fifties. I tried to say something but.....nothing would come out. Then.... right in front of me..... she opens one of the freezer doors and grabs a big box of Fish Fingers and shoves it down the front of her dress. She winks at me again and says Ive still got it aye... Vera and walked off. Streuth.
