Gene Simmons bass solo (credit to Ed for the video) Gene was supposed to fly up to the ceiling here, but his rig malfunctioned. No one from the crew came out to help him so he had to stand there stuck for a while. Finally Paul Stanley came back on stage and over to try to help him or get him some help, then someone from their crew finally came out and unhooked him. I felt bad for Gene. Thats a dangerous part of the show for him and they should not only make sure its working 100% correctly, they should also pay much closer attention to him at that time. I saw him having a firm talk with the crew guy, and my kids being a few rows closer could hear Gene chewing him out over the music. I dont blame him for being angry one bit.
