General Smedley Butler turned out to be a great American hero when he stood before Congress to expose a 500,000 man Army of veterans in 1933 led by Prescott Bush (GHWBushs father) intent on a Coup de tat against our newly elected President FDR. It had been timed to coincide with the installation of Both Mussollini and Hitler. Prescott Bush supporters believed only a Fascist Government and not a Democratic one could solve the Great Depression with a massive world war, and not an elected leader. The BUSH plot would eventually lead to another plot against another elected leader of ours, President John F Kennedy
