George Bush Tells Hannity Why He Refuses to Criticize Obama! Despite having many opportunities to and having the expertise to appropriately do it, former President George W. Bush will not publicly criticize President Obama. Bush explained his decision to refrain in his interview with Sean Hannity Thursday night. “Why did you make that decision?” Hannity asked. “Because I’m sure you have a lot to say.” “I don’t think it’s good for the country to have a former president undermine a current president,” Bush replied. “I think it’s bad for the presidency, for that matter.” He also said that he doesn’t want the media attention that comes with making those statements. Bush has stayed mostly under the radar since leaving the White House, but is in the midst of promoting his book about former President George H.W. Bush, “41: A Portrait of My Father.” “I really have had all the fame I want,” he added. “I really don’t long for publicity. And the truth the matter is in order for me to generate publicity … I’d have to either attack the Republican Party, which I don’t want to do, or attack the president, which I don’t want to do. And so I’m perfectly content to be out of the limelight.” This is not a conviction Bush and his former vice president Dick Cheney share. Cheney has loudly criticized Obama, calling him the “worst of my lifetime.” Watch the clip via Mediaite below: Read more at redalertpolitics/2014/11/14/george-w-bush-explains-wont-criticize-obama/#Z8uyjjjMhXfhjzTP.99 https://youtube/watch?v=znCBOcbl6TQ
