Get out of the Tomb! We are caught in addiction, blocked by anxiety and trauma that came from past hurts and circumstances. Stuck in abuse or held down by health issues, I know it feels like being literally buried alive. We feel dead already. It seems like no one understands us and there are so many mean and fake people who makes the situation even worse. I want you to know you are not alone. There are other people just like you who have been and currently am being misunderstood. There was a character named Lazarus (John 11). Long story short: He was dead, buried in the tomb for 4 days - there was already a bad odor. Jesus said roll away the stone and said to Lazarus - get out of the tomb. Lazarus was wrapped in grave clothing and Jesus ordered the people to take the clothing off. We can all relate to being buried alive. Jesus is here for you. He is asking you to "get out of the tomb". Then He will unwrap every single layer of the grave clothing we are wearing. The clothing of addiction, of trauma, anxiety, self hate, depression, anger, impatience, and all that garbage that holds us back from experiencing true freedom, true joy. Our job is just to trust and believe in God to bring us out of any situation if we truly seek Him. Have an awesome Wednesday! :)
