Getting kids to put away toys can be a challenge, especially if you dont want them to just shove them in whatever bin or basket they come across, but instead to put things back where they got them from. One thing that can help are labels, which allow your kids to know where various toys should go. If theyre small, picture labels are an even better idea. A reader, Ashley, recently labeled her daughters toys bins in just this way. Ashley said: I recently made labels for my two year old daughters playroom. When its time to clean up she fills a small basket with the toys and then sorts the items. She always knows where things are.
