Getting lunch, this woman has 4 stars on her apron meaning she should know waitress etiquette. 1) When a customer has the menu open and is still reviewing it they are not ready to order. No amount of nagging will make that happen. 2) when a customer asks for a side that is in addition to what comes with their meal, do not deter a sale. Are you ready yet? Are you ready now? Finally i order and ask for three instead of two sides (scared my gallbladder wont handle one). Maam! Stop. Your meal only comes with two sides. Thats it. Two sides. Me: How about this. You could nicely say this meal only comes with two sides, would you like to add a third for a nominal price? because thats what i want to do. I want to add a side. She just looked at me, stammered a second, and knew that she really did a party foul there. *drinks my coffee and looks up at a person I once deeply loved, who offered to meet for lunch, who i think still loves me But its not happening. Cheating is the absolute end of all ends for me. But at least we can have lunch today. And thankfully he didnt ream my rear for speaking up. Wrong is just wrong. Just shake it off.
