Getting to know the team at Hosford Health Clinic! Meet another member of our team: Dr. Dr Ongputra Logianto, Osteopath. 1. What made you decide to become an Osteopath? It was when I was still doing my biomedical science degree, after I got myself involved in a little bit of laboratory work and research I realised that being stuck in a lab looking at tissue/blood samples is not my cup of tea. So then I decided to become an Osteopath which allows me to apply my passion in the medical field and directly interact with patients. 2. Have you always lived in Melbourne? I was born and raised in Surabaya, Indonesia. It was in September 2001 that I came to Melbourne to study in year 10. Since then I have always been back to Surabaya every now and then to visit some old friends or relatives. 3. What are some of your hobbies? Since I was a boy i have always been interested in martial arts and at the moment I train Brazilian Jiujitsu regularly. 4. If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?
