Giant Book Sale at East Central College on Friday and Saturday. Here are the details: *** Last season the fine and performing arts of East Central College lost a strong supporter. Richard Knudsen, a faculty member at ECC, passed in April. While many may not know Richard by name or face he was easily recognized by his thunderous BRAVO! at the end of performances and his detailed reviews of all on campus arts sent out via email. In Mr. Knudsens passing he generously left the college his personal book collection. This Friday evening, 4-8pm, and Saturday morning, 9am-1pm, the college will be selling this collection to endow a scholarship in Mr. Knudsens name. Admission to the sale on Friday will be $10 and there will be no admission charged for the Saturday event. This collection is over 5,000 books on a plethora of subjects and since this was amassed over Richards lifetime it features out of print texts as well as many in different languages.
