#Giant #pink #cat sculpture wows #Shanghai The wait is over for all those wondering what Dutch artist #FlorentijnHofman would do to top his immensely popular giant floating #rubber #duck, which caught global imagination last year. The artist unveiled his latest creation in #Shanghai on Friday. Hofman’s newest sculpture, a giant pink cat, greeted excited crowds at Century Park. He said that the nearly 10-meter-high bamboo sculpture is inspired by the stray cats that he saw roaming around the city’s parks. The sculpture, however, is but one of many masterpieces on display during the ongoing 2014 Shanghai Design Week.
