Gillian Chans 60th birthday dinner! I had lobster and foie gras ravioli in mushroom cream sauce to start, pan-roasted sweetbreads on grilled asparagus for a second course, and a mango and avocado tart with the most amazing basil and lime sorbet. We drank a magnum of champagne and a bottle of something red and terribly French, not to mention Armagnac to end the whole meal. Now I have my sights set on #60!
