Gillian Gallo gave me 7. I was to shy to write it where everyone could see it but I respect you, Gillian and Sunday Witte for doing it so, here it goes... 1. I did not go to college until I was 32 years old. I had to get my daughter out of diapers so I could put her in the International school so that I could attend college. I left her with her grandmother for 2 weeks on the Jersey shore. She managed to potty train her to go in a tupper ware container, (hence my being able to go to College...finally!) That lasted until we were on the plane home... tupper ware, peeing, and airplane bathrooms are not a good combo! 2. I used to win spelling bees in school, but who would guess it now? With coming to Mexico and learning to speak another language, now my english sucks! 3. I went out with a photographer who had done a photo shoot for Mexico traveler magazine. When I told him I wanted to move to another country when my kids were old enough for me to leave the U.S., he brought me here to SMA for 10 days. When we returned home, he bought a car (in Portland Oregon) and I rented out my house, let go of my lease of my studio there, and 6 months later moved here ALONE. Thank god, he is the only ex I do not speak to any more! 4. I did not meet my father until I was 14 years old. We went on a long road trip together just a few months later. One of the first stops, was my first visit to Disney land. We got kicked out (appoximately 45 min. later) for smoking a joint (in orange rolling papers no less) in front of the Haunted House. 5. Evidently as seen here on FB today, my son is a racist, no matter how hard I tried to raise him not to be! But I do love you with all of my heart despite it, Cole Rawlins! 6. I got an early work permit and started working when I was 14 years old in Nursing homes. When I was 19, and at the end of that career I had broken my foot and rode my bicycle to both of my jobs, one from 6 in the morning until 2:30 in the afternoon, the other from 3p.m. until 11:30 at night in 2 different Nursing homes. I got into restaurant work and teaching exercise just after that. 7. I love my kids, both of them, dearly. I can not imagine my life without having had either of them.
