Girls, can you do a pull up? During the first training session with a new client I always run over technique. Squat, Deadlift, Push and Pull. The pull being every bodies favourite exercise, the pull up! When I ask a new client to try a pull up their response is usually one of the following - No chance. Not a hope. You joking? Im not joking, Im serious, very serious! In the video - apologies for my poor camera work - you are catching the 3rd and 4th unassisted pull ups of a client who said the exact same thing when I asked them to let me see them do a pull up the first day they came in! Just like every other exercise there is ways of making it easier, and ways to make it harder. There are levels of progression, and even if it takes a lot of time, as long as you are consistent with your training you will get better, you will improve, and you will be able to do it or anything you set your mind too! Take that thought and run with it this week. Set your mind on achieving a new goal and get it done!
