The opening of Britains borders to immigration from all over the EU FOR WORK is the equivalent of opening the US up to immigration by every single person in China and South America and Europe, giving all 2 billion of them the immediate right to work. When you put it that way, Id say the Brits have been very tolerant indeed, considering that the political class has been telling them how bigoted they are for worrying about it.
