Giving her speech at the “Global Energy’s” panel discussion within the framework of All-Russian Science Festival, Tatiana Mitrova (an expert on the development of global energy markets and export-import policy of Russia) noted: “The energy policy priorities differ by country groups. Developed countries are not interested in cheap energy, because it threatens plans for renewable energy and nontraditional resources projects (the security of energy supply is provided mainly through the development of their own energy production, creation of buffer stocks and by having assets in exporting countries). At the same time, developing countries are interested in cheap energy due to the rapidly growing demand for energy and limited financial capacity of the population”. See some photos from the event
