Glasgow Playbus has now been in operation for more than 4 years. Hosting a party in the convenience of your own home using Hamish the Double Decker Bus is very simple. Ive put together this short guide to show you. - Inviting the guests Use our invitations from the website to invite 20-25 guests to your party. On the invites state the party will last for the duration Hamish is there. This will reduce the amount of time people will need to go into your home. - The Party itself Hamish will be all parked up outside your home waiting for your first guest to arrive. On arrival of each guest at the party: Safely secure the gift given and place in your home. Place shoes in box we provide and let them go and play in the bus. For the duration of the party some children will disembark the bus to get a drink or go to the toilet. Please note: Hamish will do all the entertaining for the day. Pass the parcel and musical chairs is not required. - Food I would suggest a small amount of finger food. As Hamish is so much fun the children would rather play on the bus than eat. Please note: No food or drink is allowed on the bus at any time. - Ending of the party At the end of the party all the children will collect their shoes as the parents collect them. Hamish and the driver will wave goodbye. When Hamish leaves invite the guests to cut the cake and make a wish. All your happy guests will then leave with their parents.
