Goat view--today is a sad day. I went out to do morning chores and found my new buck Rock with his head stuck in the fence dead. He would have been going in with the little girls this week for breeding. I had to wake up my daughter who works eves so she was sound asleep, to help me get him out of the fence, then we sat and talked about how much life and death we see, with the goats and working at the hospital, while upset, I felt disengaged?? from his death, Mad at myself, what if I had gone out to check last night or earlier this morning, the usual self beat up. but was concerned about my lack of ?? upset. Later in the afternoon, I had a vet appt. for my dog to check his itching ears. My dog is not good at the vet. He turns into kuoojoe crazy dog in the lobby. So I walk in and no other dogs in lobby. good. just before they called me back another dog came in a lab. My dog went his usuall, just think of the police dog at the end of his leash in full lunge, and fangs and growls and barking. So embarrassing. well all the staff ran to the lobby, I burst out in tears and could not stop sobbing for the whole visit. I kept saying I am sorry I am crying about the goat. Once my dog is out of the lobby he is back to perfect dog, they emptied the lobby for us to get out. It has been a long day. I was not able to bury Rock today. He is in the wagon covered up. so that will be my day tomorrow. RIP Rock.
