Gods Love & Justice Ever since Adam and Eve fell to the lies of satan in the Garden of Eden, there has been evil among mankind and a movement of satan to come against everything godly and righteous in this world. Then, comes Cain and raises up a rock and kills his brother, Abel. The antediluvian world goes on, over time, to become so degenerate and corrupt that God has to destroy the world with water, saving only Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. My experience shows that those who plant trouble and cultivate evil will harvest the same. Job 4:8 (NLT). Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster, and their reign of terror will come to an end. Proverbs 22:8 (NLT). Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But, those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So, lets not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing, if we dont give up. Galatians 6:8-9 (NLT). Just as we stand on Gods promises, we better heed His warnings! Unfortunately, there will always be people who will have to endure the justice and judgment of God. Justice is a joy to the godly, but it terrifies evildoers. Proverbs 21:15 (NLT). Wherever the hand of God has been working to save people, there has been those who oppose Gods ways, His laws, and His salvation through Gods only begotten Son, Jesus. When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong. Ecclesiastes 8:11 (NLT). The Lord isnt really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 2 Peter 3:9 (NLT). Dont you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Cant you see that His kindness is intended to turn you from your sin? Romans 2:4 (NLT). Gods justice is balanced with His agape love for us!
