Gods or Caesars: A Response to a Concerned Reader I praise the church for its sacrifice (sometimes horrific) in bringing the lost into the hope of eternal life through Christ. Statistics show the church is doing a great job in bringing the world to Christ. My concern is the mismanagement of God’s property. The Lord rightfully lays claim to his property (creation) and the human wealth derived from it. Americas Caesar is not the biblical Roman Caesar. America’s “Caesar” and the citizens who put Caesar in power were raised directly under or in the shadow of the modern Christian pulpit. The modern American Christian seems to be disconnected from the reality that our relationship with God is affected by how we manage His property to achieve His ends (Gen1:26-29). I.e. using the Lord’s wealth to promote a love for Lucifer (voice of humanist ideology) in public education is one example of gross mismanagement. The Lord’s wealth should be used for education not indoctrination. God bless you, those you love and The United States of America.
