Going through old notes I wrote this last August and want tosh are again as I needed to read this today. Winner or just a shadow...you be the judge! FNO 4 LIFE You ask me who are you.. What are you I am not a machine I am a man When Im cut I bleed When Im hurt I cry When Im happy my smile will shine And when Im angry just step aside I have been to lifes edge and I have been to deaths door My time was to be kept here on earth I question not why I only feel my life has purpose I was given a gift A second chance to live to love to carry a message I was given that which others have lost I fear not time for it is not evil Time is simply something we all face Time is something we all have Some seconds some minutes or hours And some a lifetime Yet we know not when our time expires I know one day my second chance will be gone I embrace this life Im given I embrace that which others forget That we are not here to be marked rather we are here to make our mark and to leave an impression so deep generations forget not of who we were I have taken the mat and I have taken the stage My coliseum of lions I faced the best and the best faced me I gave my all I gave 100% Sometimes we walk not away with the gold Sometimes we walk away with nothing more than a journey A journey of our souls of our minds and of our bodies I for one will make that journey time and again, gold or not My heart holds within all the gold a man can desire for a lifetime My soul knows of its progression with every fight, with every redemption and with everything it has been through It forgets not where it has been on this map of life! You ask me do I inspire I ask you well do I I live but by one creed that failure does not exist in my heart That failure is a word man has tried to label those who dare to challenge themselves from within Those who at times risked their all for self glory and gratification yet you may see someone who came in second place or even last I see a person who said I will not go quietly into the night! Who dared to risk it all for a moment of pride. A person who cared not of a medal but to feel alive from within A person whos journey existed on the shadows of their soul to forever remain a piece of who they are You ask me who I am I AM FNO!!!!!! And I will NOT GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT!!!! For when my life comes to an end remember this I gave 100% in everything I have done! I lived a life of both a king and a pauper ashamed not of my mistakes but grew stronger as I learned from them all. I dare not ask who you are because if you have listened if you believe In the words I speak if you feel your souls alive and you have value then know this YOU TOO ARE FNO!!!!!!
