Going to court today and Im gonna try to fight the ticket the mean cop gave me a few weeks ago. Im still shocked he gave it to me. Yes I went through the opened cones of where the road closed sign was but I was relieved to see the cop there so I could ask him for directions! I was trying to bring daddy to section 8 housing and we had been driving around for 45 mins to get into the entrance. After giving up on my GPS, I decided to listen to daddys directions. Yes he is blind,,,, but he knows jersey citys streets like the back of his hand! He wasnt always blind! I drove through the opening because there were cars there, and the cones were open, and because I saw the cop! I drove straight up to the cop with relief thinking he would help me! I didnt expect him to start screaming at me and to give me a ticket!!! Then he told me that since I drove so far down the block that I can continue going and make the right turn into the projects of Marion gardens. I was so frustrated and couldnt believe he gave me a ticket that I started crying! Lol... It was one of those frustrating days. If u took the time to read this, I ask that u say a lil prayer for me that it goes smoothly. Im not sure what Im doing but I do feel that if I try to fight this, it would be better than me not fighting it. He didnt have to scream at me or give me the ticket... He could have told me the directions and turned me around. Instead, he let me proceed to the directions daddy told me to do, after making fun of me because I was listening to directions from a blind man. Deep breaths.... Gods will, not mine. I wanted to call the officer a bunch of names but I knew that wouldnt help so as the tears rolled down my face with frustration, I told him that he was mean. I took care of daddys business, looking all crazy cause I was crying and then made a phone call to Samuel Montanez. He advised me to take pictures, so I did and he told me he would come to court with me. Thanks Sammy! Anyway, Im hoping everyone has a great day and court is at 1pm so please keep me in your prayers that I stay calm and not make matters worse! Lol.
