Golden Triangle with Darjeeling-Sikkim-Bhutan Tour Day 01: Arrive in Delhi Upon arrival in Delhi you will be welcomed by our company representative and he will transfer you to hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel in Delhi. Day 02: Delhi - Agra After breakfast at hotel, enjoy sightseeing of New Delhi by visiting Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, India gate, Qutub Minar etc, later drive towards Agra. On arrival in Agra check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 03: Agra - Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri After breakfast at hotel, enjoy sightseeing of one of the Seven Wonders of the World – The Taj Mahal & Agra Fort, next visiting Marble factory and see the demonstration of World famous Marble inlay work. Later drive to Jaipur via sightseeing of Fatehpur-Sikri. On arrival in Jaipur check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 04: Jaipur After breakfast at hotel, enjoy sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Amer Fort in mughal ruler’s style as they did on the back of Elephant, later visiting Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Museum, Jantar Mantar etc. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 05: Jaipur – Delhi After breakfast at hotel, drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi enjoy sightseeing of Old Delhi, visiting Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Jama Masjid & Rickshaw ride at narrow Passages of Old Delhi and Chandi Chawk etc. Later transfer to hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 06: Delhi – Bagdogra – Darjeeling After breakfast at hotel, transfer the guests to Delhi domestic airport to board the flight for Bagdogra. On arrival at Bagdograh airprot, proceed to Darjeeling. Reach Darjeeling & check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 07: Darjeeling Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range of Mount Everest & Kanchandzonga. One can see the horizon changing colours just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. Later back to hotel for breakfast, on the way visit to Ghoom Monastery which is one of the oldest Monasteries in the area built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height. After breakfast, enjoy Toy Train ride (Joy ride) from Darjeeling to Ghoom, and visit to Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Happy Valley Tea Estate(from outside) followed by walking tour of local markets etc. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 08: Darjeeling – Gangtok After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Gangtok, on the way visit to Rumtek Monastery, later transfer the hotel for check-in. Evening free at explore local market by walk. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 09: Gangtok Early morning visit to Tashi Vew Point to see the view of Mt. Kanchenjunga [Subject to the Weather], After breakfast, visit to Labrang Gompa & Phodang Gompa, next visit to Namgyal Institute of Tibetology [to see Silk-Embroidered Thangkas, Tibetan Cloth Painting & Buddhist Books etc], Do Drul Chorten, Enchey Gompa etc. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 10: Gangtok – Changu Lake – Gangtok After breakfast at hotel, full day excursion to Changu Lake, situated 35 Kms outside the Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. It is almost 1 km long, oval in shape with an average depth of 50 ft, The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the colour of the lake’s waters. After that visit to Baba Mandir, later back to Gangtok. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 11: Gangtok – Kalimpong After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Kalimpong. On arrival check-in at hotel, later explore the beauty of Kalimpong (Situated at an altitude of 1250m, Kalimpong’s location is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway and become an important tourist destination owing to its temperate climate and proximity to popular tourist locations in the region. Kalimpong is well known for its many educational institutions Kalimpong and It also a house several Buddhist monasteries which hold a number of rare Tibetan Buddhist scriptures. In the early 18th century, the Bhutan king also took it over. In 1865, after the Anglo-Bhutan War, it was annexed to Darjeeling. Scottish Missionaries came here in the late 1800s. The town thrived as a wool trading centre with Tibet till 1950s. Now it is famous for its flower market, especially the wide array of orchids), visiting flower nurseries, Thongsa Gumpa, Tharpa Choling Monastery, Zang Dog Palri Fo Brang Monastery etc. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 12: Kalimpong – Jaigaon After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Jaigaon (India Boarder). On arrival check-in at hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.. Day 13: Jaigaon – Phuentsholing – Thimphu After breakfast at hotel, proceed for VISA formalities at the India-Bhutan boarder, after VISA formalities enter in Phuentsholing (Bhutan side) and drive towards Thimphu. On arrival check-in at hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing of Thimphu, visit to Memorial Chorten, Tashi Choe Dzong, Paper Factory, Drubthob Goemba etc. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 14: Punakha Excursion Early breakfast at hotel and after that full day excursion to Punakha through Dochula pass. Reach Punakha, visit to Po Chu, Mo Chu, Punakha Dzong & nearby places, later back to Thimpo, en-route visit Simtokha Dzong from outside. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 15: Thimpu – Paro After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Paro (Paro the capital of Bhutan). Reach Paro & check-in at hotel, later visit to Paro Dzong [Rinpung Dzong] & National Museum [Ta Dzong] etc. Evening enjoy Bhutanese Cultural Mask Dance Show. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 16: Paro – Chalsa After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Phuentsholing. After completing VISA formalities at the boarder enter in India again and drive towards Chalsa, reach Chalsa and check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 17: Chalsa – Bagdogra – Delhi After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Bagdogra and transfer the guest to airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival check-in at hotel, rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel. Day 18: Departure After breakfast at hotel, enjoy last minute sightseeing & shopping in Delhi till departure time, later transfer the guests to International airport to board the flight for onward journey and tour terminates.
