Gonna rant. Its been a while. If you need a breath of encouragement, keep reading. Ill try to keep things fairly brief to the point. Dark Water has acquired some.. Lets not say haters.. Well call them non-constructive critics. I think thats awesome though. I look at it as another step on the ladder. We had to have been relevant for someone to take time out of our their day to attempt to spread some of their negativity to us. Constructive criticism is always welcome. How else is one supposed to improve their craft? Weve been playing together a little less than 3 months. We have a lot to work on. Were going to sound sketchy from time to time. If you have something constructive to add, its always welcome. But a word from positive people to generally negative people: No merit is given to you and your insults. Its a waste of time for all parties involved. Especially when we know that we love what were doing, and we do a pretty damn good job at it. We have way more positive people in our life than negative. Well spend our time with them while you sit and wallow in hate and self-pity with others like you. And a word to all my fellow musicians and artists from Philadelphia: keep doing what you love. If someone hates it, that sucks for them, because happy people dont generally sit around and spread negativity. Keep climbing the ladder and never forget to keep improving yourself. Try to be one of the positive people. Support your local music family. Grow with them. It will make everyone better. Everyone have a good week! We might have some thunderstorms in the coming days. If anything looks bad, Ill do my best to keep everyone informed.
