Good Afternoon FB FAM! I hope all is going well on your piece of the planet. Tis the Season...so much has happened this year, I cant quite get a handle on it all. Some of it was beyond my wildest dreams and some of it was pure grief. Last year I attended two family members funerals, this year three plus two long time friends. I was able to make a 40+ year old dream come true by living in New York/Harlem. Even if it was for 6.5 months. I met a man who I thought was the be all to end all..he turned out to be just a man I met. lol I met people in person for the first time I had only communicated with for years via the internet. My youngest daughter became engaged, my oldest grandson started kindergarten, my other three children and grandson are healthy, productive and I pray happy. Two of my beautiful sistah fiends found love and marriage, other friends wrote books, bought new cars, a house, traveled, shared their happiness, pain, advice and joy with me. 2014 was such a blessed year because I was able to live it, and love it and do and be and see! Maya Angelou quoted Charles Dickens in I KNOW WHY THE CAGE BIRD SINGS; It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. This is exactly what 2014 was for me. I look forward to 2015 with new ideas, plans, goals, dreams and happiness. I know there will be times of darkness and sorrow, but I know there will be more times of light, joy,peace, happiness and prosperity. Maybe I will meet the man who is the be all to end all or maybe Ill just meet a man. lol Right now Im listening to God, and my ancestors and waiting for the wind to blow!
