Good Afternoon Police Logs: 1502: Complainant on High Street reports an attempted entry to her residence. Residents daughter returned home and found the front door knob loose. Report and photos taken. 1715: Complainant requests assistance with a vehicle lockout on North Main Street. Officer gained entry without damage. 1801: HCSO Dispatch reports a 911 hang up call from a Birchpark Drive residence. Officers made contact with the homeowner who stated his son dialed 911 by accident. Checks ok. 1900: Complainant on Third Street reports a lost drivers license. Report taken. 1942: Complainant reports a motorcycle driving recklessly on Birchpark Drive. Officers responded and spoke to the girlfriend of the motorcycle owner who stated her boyfriend was having mechanical problems and needed to repair it. The boyfriend was not on the scene and she was advised to have him contact the Police Dept. June 9, 2013 1012: Complainant on Grove Street reports someone toilet papered his property overnite and damaged his trees in the process. Report and photos taken. 1222: Officer assisted Firelands Ambulance Service on New London Avenue with an ill female. Subject transported to the Hospital for treatment. 1356: Complainant on Birchpark Drive reports her son and nephew were followed home by a man driving a black mini van. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. Report taken, complainant advised extra patrols would be conducted in the area. 1518: Complainant on East Fir Street reports his girlfriend took his vehicle without permission. Report taken. 1909: Complainant reports illegal dumping of trash in a dumpster on East Main Street. Report taken. 2011: Complainant reports striking a deer on State Rt. 60. Report and photos taken. 2035: Complainant reports a dog at large in the area of Pearl Street. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the animal. June 10, 2013 0738: Officer assisted Firelands Ambulance Service with an ill male on Daisy Drive. Subject tannsported to the Hospital for treatment. 0934: Complainant on Pearl Street reports losing her medication. report taken, under investigation. 1206: Complainant on High Stret reports telecommunications harassment from a former friend. Officer was able to contact the party who agreed to cease further communications. 1219: Complainant reports a dispute between a male and female on North Main Street. Officer spoke to the parties who were arguing over baby clothes and after several minutes was able to resolve the issue. 1334: Officer assisted Firelands Ambulance Service with an ill female on New Kirk Street. Subject transported to the Hospital for treatment. 1448: Subject reported finding a iPod on walnut Street. The item was unable to be accessed and was logged into the found property locker. 1655: Officer assisted Firelands Ambulance Service with a male who had fallen off a roof at a residence on North Main Street. Subject transported to the Hospital for treatment. 1931: Complainant reports a juvenile shooting a B-B gun at stop signs on Grant Street. Officers located the juvenile and confisicated the gun . The juvenile was transported to his residence. Report and photos taken, charges pending in Juvenile Court. 2029: Complainant at Aster Court Apts reports a stray cat at his apt. Officer responded but was unable to locate the cat . June 11, 2013 0010: Complainant on Coleman Court reports a dog barking and left outside in the rain all day. Officer responded but was unable to make contact with the dogs owner. The dog was taken to the Village kennel and given food and water. Note left for the owner to contact the Police Dept. 0103: Officer assisted with a a vehicle lock out on Townline Rd 187. Officer was able to gain entry without damage. 0250: Officer assisted a subject on East Main Street who had injured his foot. Subject transported to his residence on North Main Street. 0535: Complainant reports a barking dog on New London Ave. Officer was unable to locate the barking dog. 0800: Officer assisted Firelands Ambulance Service with an ill female on West Washburn Street. Subject transported to the hospital for treatment. 1051: Complainant requests an Officer speak with his former boyfriends son about stopping at her residence. Officer spoke to the party who agreed to the request. 1145: Complainant on Johnson Drive reports a stray dog on her property. Officer responded but was unable to locate the animal. 1320: Vermillon Police Dept requests a welfare check on a male residing on Jennings Rd. HCSO contacted for proper jurisdiction. 1438: Complainant on Park Ave. requests assistance with a large swarm of bees at her residence. Officer contacted Honey Bee Treasure who agreed to assist the resident. Have a great day!
