Good MORNING! I am going to deviate from my planned post for this. So last night I finally decided to do a little research. My long runs have been resulting in knee pain on the outside of my right knee all the way up my thigh to my hip. I have had tendonitis since I was about 10 but I finally admitted this no longer felt like that. I am 99.9% sure I have an IT Band issue. Luckily I dont think it is too bad because I only have trouble on my long run days for the most part. I started researching how to fix this. The 2 I am going to focus on are 1. strength training and 2. foam rolling/stretching. This morning I decided PiYo buns was the way to go it really works my hips which will help! THEN I did these foam roller exercises....when I dont have such a painful look on my face I will make my own video If you want some info on places to get the best/cheapest foam rollers let me know!
