Good Monday Morning. We have a lot to talk about so please read very carefully. Today will see a mix of sun & clouds with more humidity with a high in the low 80s. A pop up shower/storm can not be ruled out later today/tonight. Tomorrow Humid and very warm with some showers/storms in the afternoon with a high of 85-90. Wednesday will see warm & humid conditions with more showers/storms with a high in the upper 80s. Thursday More scattered showers/storms with a high in the upper 80s. Now read carefully. first off if you are on a cruise or going on a cruise or visiting the Bahamas or Se Florida well expect some showers/rough surf. WHY? because of a tropical wave. Models are all over the place with this feature. It should develop into Tropical storm Arthur. Now, It is slowly heading south BUT, with the front to the west will it pick up Arthur? if so when will it pick it up? If it picks it up early, it could just send it out to sea and have minimal effects on our area. BUT, if it does not pick it up in time, Arthur COULD come close enough to give us clouds and some showers especially eastern areas. t he big effect would be rough surf and we do not need that for people going to the beach. We do not want people in danger if they decide to go into the water with very dangerous rip currents. So, the bottom line is, let us see how the models handle this system. It is most likely to affect those going on vacation or living in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
