Good Morning/Day friends! It’s a glorious Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Isn’t it exciting to know that the Creator and Supreme Ruler of the universe, God and Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ chose us to be saved – to be His instruments of righteousness here on this earth? Luke 1:46-47 “And Mary said, my soul doth magnify the Lord, 47) and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.” I’m beginning to understand the ecstasy and bliss that Mary must have experienced as the Holy Spirit gave her a revelation of the great honor that God had bestowed upon her. She was chosen to carry inside of her the Savior who is Christ the Lord. Little wonder then that she was overwhelmed with praise and exaltation of her God “For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation” (Luke 1:49-50). Friend, we too are carrying the Spirit of Christ inside of us; we too ought to be excited and filled with awe, as we reflect upon the fact that God chose us to be saved. The great and mighty, holy God, picked you and me to be His righteousness and to walk in His holiness here on this earth. We are His vessels of light in the darkness of this sinful world; and a voice of reason among a people that have lost their minds to carnality and wickedness. Yes, child of God, as the Apostle Peter puts it in 1 Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” Hallelujah! Let us give honor and glory to our God and Savior Jesus the Christ. Have a blessed day!
