Let us to continue to pray for the tornado victims in the midwest there have been 6 deaths and 37 injuries reported so far as there were 77 reported tornadoes. ~ The 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Chase is over Jimmie Johnson has been crowned with his 6th Championship. Congrats to him and Homestead race winner, Denny Hamlin and 2013 Rookie of the Year is Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. The NASCAR main divisions are officially in the off-season. There will be a few NASCAR sanctioned races in the lower divisions in this time period before things fire up in Daytona in 2014. Today, we continue our series of posts as we look at part 12 in our Spiritual Exercise Program as we acknowledge our Spiritual Weaponry found in Ephesians chapter six, let us look at verses 13-15, “Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the BELT OF TRUTH around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God, and having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.” Today let me just comment briefly on the capitalized words, since there is a limited capacity on FB to be able to italicize or make them bold, this is only way to set them apart with attention. We are so much in Spiritual battle each day and there is such a magnitude of “screen” input in which there are some powerful Biblical principles that are removed and replaced with deceit and deception. The “BELT OF TRUTH” is both a defensive and offensive weapon. When attacked with lies one’s main defense is “TRUTH.” Jesus Himself when confronted by His haters said this to them, “For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44). ~ On our DRJ we have experienced “chronic” liars who start believing their lies are truth. They need our Prayers that they will receive their freedom from the Lord, “Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31&32) ~Truth defends our stand and is the offensive weapon to “Set them FREE!” ~Be Blessed!
