Good Morning GSFMAR…It’s “Thankful” Thursday! Do you ever think about God’s mighty hand of protection? There are so many situations that I can look back over my life and realize that but for the grace of God…On countless occasions, I recall getting that feeling that something just wasn’t right. Later, I found that the worst happened in that situation and had I been there, I would probably have been at risk. The discernment that a relationship wasn’t in my best interest or my season in it had come to an end. If I didn’t go into it or terminated it, I later found out why and it wouldn’t have been worth what I would have had to go through. Dallas is one of the worst places to drive in the US and I’ve been in a couple of not-at-fault accidents or near accidents but only sustained minor injuries. God’s hand of protection doesn’t just extend to me. It also extends to my husband, children and others that I love. Yesterday in Spring, TX (a Houston suburb), a young man was stabbed to death and three others injured. It was the high school where my daughter taught for two years. We prayed that God would provide an opportunity for her to leave because the kids were out-of-control. While no teachers were hurt, I still count it a blessing that God moved her out of the situation before something happened. In hindsight, I could go on and on and I’m sure you could too.
