Good Morning Good people! I hope you all are having a good day and slept well regardless of the attack on your character by a special kind of informant who shall remain nameless :-) Not for fear but because they dont deserve the shine. People like that make idle threats to disturb others raging against the machine not knowing that most of us are familiar with intimidation tactics. From what I hear that person is gone back to their home state and the rest of us have identified their supporters, (youre reading this, I hope you have a good day too!). Genuinely. Because this was never about separation. Regardless of that I wanted to share with ALL of you that some of us will be joining Food Not Bombs this Sunday to feed some hungry people at Huntridge Circle Park. A lot of us in addition to holding down careers/school/families and supporting the revolution do a great deal of work in the community for the under-privileged and underserved... contrary to the picture that people want to paint about us. Members interact with and befriend local people who may be experiencing difficulty making ends meet and are in need of a supplement to their available food resources. We share healthy nutritious vegetarian or vegan meals with them as a way of building community and ensuring those who might be experiencing financial difficulties that they are still valued members of our society. I spoke with Gail the main organizer for FNB and she provided a short list of items you can bring that could help out tremendously: Rice Beans Pasta Potatoes Peanut Butter Jelly Bread Socks But of course anything is appreciated even if its your time.
