Good Morning Kingston! Just a heads up about the Bus Service tomorrow (Sat. March. 8th) March 8 – Road Closure – La Salle Causeway On Saturday, March 8, Route 12 will not cross the La Salle Causeway between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. due to a bridge closure (weather permitting). Route 12 will be separated into two sections: • The Regent/Brock/Johnson section will travel on its regular route in both directions between Kingston Centre and Downtown. Route 12 buses will not turn right onto Bagot Street after serving the Downtown Transfer Point; rather, they will continue west on Brock Street. • The Highway 15 section will travel between Downtown and the East End via Highway 401, using the following routes: o Buses travelling from Downtown to the East End will use the following route: Bagot Street, Princess Street, Ontario Street, The Tragically Hip Way/Barrack Street, Rideau Street, Montreal Street, Highway 401, Highway 15, and Highway 2. o Buses travelling from the East End to Downtown will use the following route after serving CFB Kingston: Craftsman Boulevard, Highway 15, Grenadier Drive, Rose Abbey Drive, Highway 15, Highway 401, Montreal Street, Rideau Street, Barrack Street, Wellington Street, and Brock Street The following stops will be out of service during the closure: • Ontario Street at The Tragically Hip Way, both directions • Highway 2 at RMC, both directions • Highway 2 at Fort Henry Dr., both directions • Highway 15 northbound at Wellington Street • Grenadier Drive northbound at Gore Road • 222 Gore Road • Gore Road westbound at Dalgleish Avenue • Innovation Drive at StarTek, both directions (passengers will be dropped off and picked up at Highway 15 and Innovation Drive) • Innovation Drive eastbound at John Marks Avenue • Innovation Drive westbound at Lyreco • Discovery Drive southbound at Innovation Drive ________________________________________ If anyone has further questions, please reach out to Kingston Transit. thanks,
