Good Morning Peeps Ive not been sleeping well the last few - TopicsExpress

Good Morning Peeps Ive not been sleeping well the last few nights, having to deal with the last few details of my roommates passing. When I woke up a few minutes ago I decided that now was the time to simply get it done. In cleaning I ran across something... For Christmas I bought Tim a date/diary. As cancer begin to slowly take his memory, he told me how thoughtful of a gift this was...he wrote appointments (there were numerous of them) and delivery dates even a funny encouragement to do his laundry. NO EXCUSES...there is a fate worst then death...laundry, LOL! He wanted to LIVE each day he had left. So in my friends memory I would like to encourage you to live, by giving...to do something memorable for someone else and put it in Tims datebook. I will be creating in the next few days a Facebook page called 23-21. The name my seem odd, but it holds special meaning to me and Tim when he was alive. Tim beat me only once in Madden...it was the last game we played together...the final score 23-21...thus the name of the page. I will encourage people to do random acts of kindness each day and put it on this page. To show Christs love in a very different way. Through ACTION. Confused? Well how about making a sandwich for that homeless person you walk past everyday. Give it to them, and put it on the page. Spend time with someone you normally wouldnt. Put it on the page. Say a kind word. Give an extra jacket you own to someone cold. Buy a cup of coffee for a stranger in line...Put it on the page. The world unfortunately wont be changed by republicans or democrats, itll be changed by being the change in someones life. Do something every day to make someones life better...we dont need to wait until someone is near the end of their lives to show kindness...do it NOW! Once the page is up Ill let you know... And Ill post the first entry for my friend Tim...who told me this story. Before Christmas I introduced him to a friend named Dave Twite. Dave is pretty generous. Dave was driving and saw Tim out by the mall. He yelled at Tim and as Tim approached he gave Tim a $100 Bill and said Merry Christmas! And drove away. Moments later on a bus Tim observed a woman with children trying to figure out Christmas. As his stop got closer Tim tapped the woman on the shoulder and handed her the very same $100 bill. What the hell was I gonna do with it huh? I got everything I need...you up for a game of Madden? So we played, and Tim had delivered kindness to a stranger...Even near the end of his life. One example of kindness led to another. 23-21 Page is up! In memory of Tim. Find it, Like it, lets change the world! Peace and Love! Nate
