Good Morning... So, who wants to just go out and play? Who wants to explore? Who would like nothing more than to defy conventional thinking and and take a chance or two? Hope you enjoy, Please feel free to share. "Personally, I never did believe the stories… The fact of the matter is, there is nothing to fear. You may suggest that I am unaware of the possible dangers but, I have to learn for myself. So, while everyone else is afraid to enter the forest at night, I sneak through the trees to play games with all that is unknown. In spite of so-called “accepted wisdom”, I find that something doesn’t quite make sense. So, when everyone else is huddled by the fire and sharing those stories about what might be, I am going to go explore. I hear the rustling about. Yes, there is something here in the darkness; but rather than chasing, it seems to be leading further into the darkness. It’s funny but, I can’t find any “boogeyman”. The monsters they told me about seem more afraid of me than I, them. Deeper and deeper, I follow tip-toeing footsteps into the darkness. I listen intently as muffled voices seem to turn to giggles and, like a game of hide and seek; something big seems to expect me to say the words, “Ready or not, here I come!” As I chase invisible shadows into the clearing, I find that yes, these are giants. Now, I’ve been told that they don’t like humans except perhaps to devour us. But, this isn’t the case. I’ve heard the stories and been told to be very afraid but, I’ve always had my doubts. Sure, they are big. In fact, they are quite huge. Everything about them seems to dwarf me. But; although they may seem fearsome, I am the one wearing a necklace made of human skulls. We spend the night playing childhood games, we shout out silly songs and even laugh at the simple ridiculousness of being taught to be afraid of the things you can’t see. "
