Good Morning. The Lord will provide deliverance for those who are - TopicsExpress

Good Morning. The Lord will provide deliverance for those who are oppressed by the enemy. But we must cease the opportunity to take action if we want to benefit from the help that God provides. We see this occurring in Jeremiah 41. In verse 14 the Bible says, “So all the people that Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah cast about and returned, and went unto Johanan the son of Kareah.” Matthew Henry in his commentary on this verse said, “The poor captives were glad when they saw Johanan and the captains that were with him, looking upon them as their deliverers (v. 13), and they immediately found a way to wheel about and come over to them (v. 14), Ishmael not offering to detain them when he saw Johanan. Those that would be helped must help themselves. These captives staid not till their conquerors were beaten, but took the first opportunity to make their escape, as soon as they saw their friends appear and their enemies thereby disheartened.” I pray that when the Lord sends us help from the sanctuary that we will take actions that will allow us to benefit from the help that the Lord will provide.” I pray that not only will cease the oportunity to act when God provides deliverance but we will also place ourselves in a position where God can use us to deliver those who are oppressed. No man is an island. I need you to survive - https://youtube/watch?v=uMcJL_UDAvw Have a blessed and a Holy Spirit-filled day.
