Good Morning This is very exciting time for growth! Tomorrow night (June 18, 7pm) Flowery Branch UMC will be hosting an initial organizational meeting concerning a house their church owns on the churches property. This is exactly what we have been looking for in terms of a affordable house we could use to place families in until moving to their next step. We need people who can assist in these efforts- people who would be willing to lead a prayer, assist with fundraising, or building permits, assist in searching for donations for building materials. We also need people who will donate trade skills (i.e., carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, roofers, painters, landscapers, etc) If you know someone who has a construction firm, can obtain building permits, or is a general contractor, these services would also be an asset. Please make plans to attend. Please also pass this along to others that might be interested to make this vision a reality. Additional information will be given that night plus we will get the opportunity to see the house.
