Good Morning everyone! What a great season. Since I last posted I have had another infusion and a visit to my oncologist. All is well and I am waiting on tumor marker lab results. The fatigue is still my constant companion but I am getting more strength and stamina daily. I am so enjoying decorating for Christmas and shopping for the grandsons. Online shopping is definitely not physically exhausting. Actually my daughter Johnna and I made a quick trip to Williamsburg last week and went to four stores and had a wonderful lunch at Merchants Square. I am blessed and so grateful to be able to do normal things. For those of you who really know me well and my habits you know I love contemporary Christian music. One of my favorite groups is Casting Crowns . This morning I listened to their song Who I Am. I believe God used that song to speak to me today. The gist of part of the song is who am I to think that God knows my name. But you know God does know my name not because of what I have done or not done. He loves me even with all my flaws. Throughout my journey with cancer many friends have remarked about my attitude being so upbeat. My attitude is a direct result of knowing God has me in the palm of His hand and will always be with me no matter what the future holds. I do have my moments and even might feel like a pity party when. I am so tired of being tired but those moments serve to remind me I still am being healed and need rest. I am looking forward to all the activities of the season and I am so thankful to have you as my friend. I cherish and need your prayers. If the season gets too hectic, sit down, fix a cup of tea, and listen to the Pentatonix version of Mary, Did You Know. God is good all the time and He has been awesome to me. Love you dearly.
