Good Morning, my friends. Yesterday was quite a day! I dragged my friend to a house in which the guy told me he was retiring and selling the contents of his camera store. My friend called someone to pick her up and I wound up staying the entire day at his store. I spent $135 of 2 digital cameras brand new in the boxes (I dont know much about them, but saw the prices on the boxes), a bakelite projector in the box and never used, a large box of padded shipping envelops, a box of slides, and a few other items. Although I was the first one he called, he did call others to his store. One guy spent about a thousand dollars on cameras and a padded case to bring them home in. Another buy bought boxes of camera flash bulbs cheap ($20 a box). Another guy bought the cabinets and all the rest of the furniture. I was told if I hung out until the people left and brought him lunch I could help myself to anything he had left in the store. I loaded my vehicle with boxes of sleeves, cards to insert photographs in, projector bulbs, binders, a slide sorter, slide projectors, a new metal reel case in the box, and anything else I could find of interest. My vehicle is loaded ... even the front seat!! Now I certainly have my work cut out for me!!!
