Good Morning, today I want to explore safety? I was challenged this week by a close friend to ask those closest to me if I am a safe person? He said we often look to find safe places, but seldom consider if we are creating safe place for others. What does it mean to be a safe place for someone else? To me it means treating others with kindness, being gentle with my words, giving them the benefit of the doubt and putting the relationship above me needing to be right. Creating a safe place is loving without a list of expectations and trusting the kindness in others. Finally, I believe being safe means believing everyone has worth and trying to ensure they see it.
