***Good Saturday morning folks. A few important updates, please take the time to read this over :) *** - A lot of people wondering about the move, naturally so, as it was the buzz of conversation for a while, then all of a sudden stopped. A few variables have entered the picture here. One being, the owners of the current building we are in, will bend over backwards to try and work with a tennant, as they are trying to do with me, and that has to be respected. At this moment, working with them, is the right thing to do. I strongly believe, we need a change to grow. Nothing to do with them, but a business that remains on Main Street, eventually dies on Main Street. The Main Street location was a start off point, and in hindsight, I think we stayed there a bit too long. However, it is what it is. Add to that, the surprise that the legion building is for sale. I learned of that this week. It makes me a bit nervous, entering into an agreement, where the parties you have entered into any agreement with, could change at anytime. Not very comfortable with that. So in a nutshell, we are where we are, and it is what it is. The future in anything is a maybe, the present is always a definate. Presently, we are located at 188 Main Street. - SLAM!!! Ripped Suspension band Program: Not a lot, but a bit, of confusion on this one, so I will try and clarify. People are wondering about the free month membership offered with it. As stated in the program description, that free membership was valid for the fall, not this month. It had been clearly started in that description from the start, never changed or later added in: One month SLAM!!! membership FREE, which you can use, or use as a gift for any family member in the fall :) In the fall. Never said month of June. However, it comes down to perception, and I appreciate that. One can read it, and think it means that you get a free membership to use NOW, or, if you wish, give the membership away NOW, or in the fall. That is not how the sentence is written, but again, it comes down to perception. As a service provider, I am bound to side with customer perception. Signing up for that program, will in fact entitle all participants to an immediate one month free membership. So be it :) However, if planning to attend, please follow these steps: 1- READ the info on the event page. Please do not reserve a spot in a program that you do not know the content, price, days, times, or duration. I VERY OFTEN, get situations where people try to reserve a spot in a program, then ask me when it is, where it is, what it is, what it costs, etc. 2- To register, I need both your registration form, and payment, by June 10th, as mentioned in the registration form sent out, if you requested one. Partial payments and deposits, etc, can no longer be accepted. I have lost money in every single special program this way. Fact of the matter, is not everyone pays me. Most do however, but alas, some dont. For this reason, I have to tighten up that end. 3- Attend :) Get your moneys worth!! I often see people pay for a program, and only attend a small percentage of the time. If certain exercises in the program are not working for you, quitting isnt the cure. Coming to me and sharing that information is. I can change things for you. Its my job :) - Membership cards: Please have them with you when attending. Membership must be current, to attend any class. This isnt a concept unique to our gym, its everywhere. I am running into more and more people that tell me they dont have their card with them, but they know they are due.....Uhm...huh? That puts me in a very awkward position. Where else can you walk into a place, oweing, and simply tell the facility you know you owe, and continue on using the service? Everybody knows by now, that I am very sensitive to peoples financial struggles. I offer extentions, free memberships, and more as needed. But, you must let me know you need a hand FIRST. I respect peoples budgetary struggles. please respect my willingness to accomodate. Dont make me chase please. For those that do either keep their membership current, or make arrangements with me, I thank you most sincerely. That practice will never change. This does not exist anywhere else. Lets all please work together so that this remains the case, and everyone can always know they wont be kicked out due to not being able to afford. I know its emberressing to have to approach the subject, but its worse, to dodge me. Isnt it?.... - Class schedule: Now that the warmer months are rolling in, this is the time of year where things tend to slow down. In reflection of that, we have made some changes to the schedule. Please click on the files tab above, to be familiar with those changes. - Dance it out (DIO): This program was announced back in April, and had to be shelved due to many projects in the works. Now that things are evening out, I can go back to planning this one. I am looking at holding this class at a 5:30 time slot, to make it accessible for most. I appreciate the desire by some, to see it take place during the day, but the reality is, daytime classes, earlier on, usually yield an attendance of 4-6 people, and that isnt feasible. At the end of the day, this is a business, and while I cant please everyone, I have to make the best general business decisions possible. - For our newer members, you may not be aware, but nutritional guidance and coaching is included in your membership for free.
