Good Sunday Evening everyone! Sunday was another great day will lots of sunshine & high temperatures getting into the low 80s. We have big, big changes coming in the next couple of days. As high pressure continues to slide east into the Atlantic, our winds will be more southeasterly, bringing in warmer temperatures. Tonights overnight lows will be in the 60s. Monday a strong cold front approaches. As it gets closer our winds will get stronger & we will have a chance of (mostly afternoon) rains & thunderstorms. There is a slight chance that some of those storms could even be severe. High temperatures will range from the mid 70s over our far northern communities to the mid 80s over our interior south. Monday night, as the front passes over Tampa Bay, more rain, thunderstorms & strong winds are expected. Overnight lows will range from the upper 40s over our northern counties to the 50s elsewhere. Tuesday will be dry but windy & cool. Highs will only make it into the upper 50s over our northern counties, low to mid 60s elsewhere. Tuesday night will be the coldest night this week. Under clear skies low temperatures will bottom out in the low to mid 30s over our northern counties to the mid 40s over our southern counties. There is even a possibility of a Freeze Warning for those northern counties Tuesday night. In the Tropics: All is quiet!
