Good Sunday morning, Hopkins County area...... a very pleasant 58 degrees, with clear skies, at my house this morning, as I sit out on the patio, enjoying my coffee, a little warmer than yesterday, but still very nice.....look for an afternoon high of 86 degrees with mostly sunny skies, and then a nighttime low of 65 degrees, with increasing clouds and a band of thunderstorms making their way through the area, late tonight, with a 40% chance of some more rain.....well keep you posted on any weather developments....so stay tuned!.......Could you have ordered a more perfect day than yesterday?......It was absolutely beautiful.....After I got up early and got pictures and comments posted.....I went back and opened my French doors in the bedroom and let the cool morning air come in, and took a little nap!.....Then, got up and went to the Dutch Oven Cooking Contest, where the food was out of this world and the weather was so sunny and bright.....then, I traveled to Delta County, to the bottoms of the South Sulphur River, where Eddie Trapp was hosting his annual Salty Dog Squirrel Hunt.....the squirrels were out and the company was good.....we sat around beneath the bois d arch and hickory trees on the banks of the South Sulphur, told stories around the campfire, ate some delicious fish, and enjoyed the afternoon in nature....one of those seldom opportunities....with perfect weather.....Then, it was back to Sulphur Springs for the 6:00 Hopkins County 4-H Achievement Banquet for an opportunity to visit with friends, re-live our trip to Wisconsin this summer, and see youth excel.....doesnt get any better than that!....But, it did!.....The 4-H Council surprised me with The Supporter of the Year Award.....for icing on the cake to a very perfect day.....I got home about 9:15 and did a little bit of catch up work on the website and opened the French doors again, and soon was napping in the cool night air again!.....You cant order days any better!......Of course, I sure do have a lot of pictures to work this afternoon and stories to write....but, theyll get done some how!......This morning I was drawn to the book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verses 5-6......Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will direct your paths.......How many times do we find ourselves in trouble when weve tried to do things our way?....But, if we acknowledge that God has control over every aspect of our own life, He will guide our path and make a way for us!....Thats when things work out for good!....Only by walking with God can we hope to find the path that leads to an abundant life on this earth and an eternity with Him in heaven!.....On another beautiful autumn Lords Day, trust in the Lord to lead you in the right direction, and be blessed!
