Good Thursday Morning Central Alabama from the National Weather - TopicsExpress

Good Thursday Morning Central Alabama from the National Weather Service! Another fairly nice day in store for ALL of Central Alabama with high in the mid to upper 60s. But that is going to start to change later tonight. We will see a low pressure system along the Gulf Coast begin to slide east northeast over the next 48 hours and will provide a good portion of the area with more rain through Friday night into Saturday morning. The graphics provided will give a little better detail on what we expect through Friday. In general though expect an increase in rain across the south overnight with scattered to numerous rain showers generally south of the I-20 corridor after 3 am. This area of scattered to numerous showers will rotate to more of southwest to northeast orientation on Friday with the best chances generally along and south of the I-59 corridor. By Friday night the best chances will be in the southeast, with maybe just a linger shower or two early Saturday morning in the far southeast.
