Good Thursday morning, Hopkins County area.....a very pleasant 70 degrees outside, this morning, as I went out and drank my coffee....expect a high of 75 today, with cloudy skies and an 80% chance of rain, chances of rain decrease to 50% late this afternoon but look for the possibility of some thunderstorms that may be severe (well keep you posted) and a low tonight of 70 degrees with 50% chance of rain....pray we get the rain without the storms, we need it!!! - A wonderful day on Wednesday as I worked in the yard and garden, in between writing stories and got a good bit of work done....theyre suppose to finally be here to begin work on cleaning up my swimming pool tomorrow and Im looking forward to having it clean and ready to use maybe by the end of next week....sounds great!.....Another busy day today of working on the senior pictures that Ive received thus far and getting that chore headed toward completion....you dont realize how many graduating seniors we have in Hopkins County, until you start working a picture of each one of them to post in our senior section....you work a while and then you go take a break when they all start running together and then come back and work some more!....Congratulations to all of our area graduating seniors....youve reached a milestone in your life....but as one educator told me, when I graduated, Youre the big fish in the little pond now, but youre going to be the little fish in the big pond when you arrive at college!.....The Psalmist shares an insight into the secret of life, in the 16th Psalm, verse 11, You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore......God is the secret to life and promises life eternal....seeking Him brings true joy in our life both on this earth and in the hereafter....just look around you at the beauty that God has provided for us here on this earth and imagine the magnitude of heaven and how beautiful it will be....Have a very blessed day, pray for God to send us the much needed rain and protect us from the challenges of the storms!
