Here is the Family for Christmas 2013 that we have chosen to help!♥ This is the heartbreaking story of the precious family “The Little Red Bow” has chose to help provide a Christmas for a Mother and her two twin Boys. When she first found her self pregnant she was 4 months along, not only was being pregnant a suprise to her, but being pregnant with TWINS! Her boyfriend at the time (which is now her ex-husband) was in jail for driving under the suspension, he got out about 5 weeks right before the little boys were born. They were new parents very happy for a while, until he started drinking beyond his limit. When he drank she never knew how he was going to act. Having two new borns for first time parents was hard enough but not having any support system, or having any personal time at all was getting unbareable for the new parents. So they uprooted there family to another state to get the help of family memebers and friends. Which the mother soon realized all back fired and it was even worse then being where they are from. The exhusbands parents drank even more then the exhusband himself, so really the mother had no help, no support system, was forced to quit her fulltime job because she didnt have reliable source of care. One night the parents took her exhusband to a bar, and he came home and beat her severely. She has been on anxiety meds ever since. Her exhusband had no memories of that night and was released from jail; he saw her face and said she was right to call the cops. They promtly moved back to New England and things were good again for a while. But then he started drinking heavily again and he broke her ribs and strained her neck, kicked the door into her and her childrens apartment which led to a 7 day eviction. He had been gone for a week and a half at that point, she had no income, had pawned everything possible. DCYF took custody of the kids. She moved in with her cousin, who got evicted after a month so we ended up living a tent in the dirt pit behind his work. The day they were able to move into a motel in Epping was heaven. She had just landed a full time job working back of the house at a restaurant. Things were looking good, and promising. Then he got drunk. And she endured another severe beating. He was in jail for 8 days before someone bailed him out and by that time her and the twin boys were in A Safe Place shelter. Eventually found an apartment and have been there ever since. She is divorced from her ex-husband and having trouble providng a Christmas for her precious boys. She has done everything to get her and her boys safe and keep them clean, fed and safe.
