Good Tuesday morning! As we look to wrap up 2014 well do so on a cold note. Strong surface high pressure will dive southeastward into the Central Plains bringing some of the coldest air weve had since mid November! Plenty of sunshine will be expected despite those frigid temperatures as highs struggle to reach the 40 degree mark today. Even drier, cooler air will settle in by New Years Eve as temps struggle to reach the low-mid 30s for highs! Look for dry conditions through Thursday before a light wintry mix will be possible later Thursday night into Friday morning. Key word here... Light. A changeover to all rain is anticipated by early Friday as we get another soaking rain through Saturday. That does it for now, have a great day and stay warm out there! ~ Chris
