Good afternoon, everyone It is truly a very blessed day here at the Humphrey house today!! The sun is shining through my back windows and it is a beautiful day! However, it was just a little chilly first thing this morning! Yesterday was about an average day for me. However, Allen started off feeling pretty good, but that was soon over. He slept more than half a day in his chair! I started out by filling my watering jugs for my plants and cooked us some breakfast. Then I watered all my plants and filled my bird baths. Then I fed and watered Martha and her ducklings and the chickens. Then I loaded and ran the dishwasher while I swept and scrubbed the kitchen and the front half of our utility room. Then I posted here and went through my emails. Then Sue called as someone else was interested in that free oak that she and I got part of on Saturday. So I got the boys to get the 4-wheeler off the trailer and hook the trailer up to Allens truck. I got ready to go with them, but had reservations as Allen wasnt doing so good. But Sue to the rescue---she had brought a neighbor with her and said for me to stay here with Allen. They get all the wood they can load on her truck, Allens truck and our trailer and start for home! As soon as she pulls out of the driveway with the trailer, it gets a flat tire. She calls me and needs another trailer! I don t think we have another one road ready that isnt full, but told her to let me go see and I would call her back. It just so happened that Alvin and Denise was here and I asked Alvin didnt he have a trailer and could he rescue them. He said sure thing! So Alvin and Denise head out to save the day! Meanwhile, Allen has got up and is ready to eat and we do! Earlier, Rob had brought me over some of Mamas pictures that I had never got from her house. A cousin recently asked me if she had any pictures of his daddy and if so, he would like to copy them. So I go through the whole box of pictures and pull out what I think he might want. Meanwhile. Sue, Matt and the boys ---and Alvin and Denise all--- return with HUGE loads of oak!! Her truck is full and so is Allens truck and trailer and there are several huge pieces on Alvins trailer!! She said there were a few pieces left and that she and I could get them with the deer hauler! No Problem!! They unload the trucks and trailers and sweep them out. They are all worn out!! NO DOUBT!!!!! Allen has been working on reloading for himself and has broken something that he needs desperately last night to finish up. So off to the Sport shop we go. The parking lot lights are out, but there still on inside so we take a chance we can get in and we can. So he gets what he needs and we return home. However, it is much later when we call it a night! Nuff rambling for today, huh???????????????????? I wish you ALL a blessed day and nite!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bye now!! See ya!!
