Good day. My husband and I own a Lodge here in Ponta do Oura, Mozambique called Primo Cabanas, just as you go through the Kosiebay border post. We are busy expanding our lodge. We are busy enlarging our restaurant, bar, entertainment deck, lounge and ablusions with backpackers area underneath the deck. We plan to have a nice big lounge area with big screen TV with DSTV, entertainment area with pool table, table tennis, foozeball table, chest table and other board games to keep our guests busy when they are not on the beach or it is a rainy day. I also plan to add on the deck a splash pool. We are also busy to build another 20 cabanas which will be double rooms, twin rooms, four sleepers, six sleepers and eight sleepers. We also have two already built houses. All cabanas will have their own double door fridge/freezer with a fan and plug point. We will also have portable airconditioners available to rent out. Prices for the backpackers will be R100-00 per person per night, the cabanas will be R150-00 per person per night and the houses will be R250-00 per person per night. We have also decided to build four extra houses. We have already sold one stand. We have two options available. 1. The use of a stands on our property alone is R500-000.00 on a hill with sea view, 100 meters from the beach. If you decide this option you can build your own house. 2. You use one of the stands on our property for R500-000.00 and we will build the house. The cost of the house is R1.2 million and is build on wood dekking. The payment opsions are that you pay 50% deposit, then a 25% when we are halfway and the rest when you move in. If you are interested you can form a group of buyers or dive operators and share the costs and use it as timeshare. This way you will easily afford to have your own beach holiday home. You can even give us permission to rent out your house when you can not use it or rent it out. When you decide to do this, we will charge you a levy of R1000-00 per month to look after the place and have it cleaned before guests arrive and after they depart. I know that you hear so many times of people loosing their property. That only happens if you do not follow the correct procedures and follow the laws of building and selling houses. People also tend to not pay their taxes and when they get cought they blame the government when they loose their property. That is their own fault. My husband is a Mozambiquan citizen and this property is registered in his name. Usually when people get scammed the houses are built without the correct procedures that is supposed to be followed. We will transfer the property in the buyers name legally through our proper goverment officials and legal contracts will be drawn up.
