Forecast for the rest of Wednesday Showers and storms over northern districts apart from the northeast tropical coast where just the slight chance of showers is expected. Fine and mostly clear southwest of about Mount Isa to Goondiwindi. A slight to medium chance of showers and storms over remaining areas, mostly inland. Showers increasing near the far southern coast and central coast late tonight. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds in the west, tending southeast to northeasterly elsewhere.
