This mama dog was found wandering looking for food by Lisa our president. Bleeding badly from her vagina, but also lactating. Is very evident this is a TVT tumor. Highly contagious to other dogs. We leashed and walked her, of course fed her when a young man approached us and said I am pretty sure this my aunts dog. We asked him to take us to the house, his aunt was not home, but he was very helpful. Mama dog has two puppies but what was heart breaking is to find a total of 9 dogs between two families!!!! A number of them chained. All because a bit of fencing is needed. We will return tomorrow and offer our assistance to spay/ neuter all. Possibly take the puppies in for re-homing. We also want to see how they feel about some help with fencing and maybe giving up the chihuahua whose chain was so tangled she had 9 inches only, no water, and food to far away to reach. We got the nephew to un hook her make her chain longer and give her water, which she drank and drank and then drank some more. This is why your support and donations are imperative so we can help and intervene in such situations. Mama will need about 5 treatments of chemo to treat her. Lets hope they will work with us to help them be able to provide a better life for their dogs.
